At Prism Home and Building Inspections LLC we try to provide more than just the best home inspections around, we work hard to provide peace of mind regarding your purchasing decision. Even after the inspection is completed and the report is delivered, we keep working for you. We do this by providing our customers with FREE technical advice for as long as you own your home. Being in the home inspection business, we know that every home requires ongoing maintenance and repairs. To help our customers care for their home, we provide FREE useful information with our Mr. Fix It How to Operate Your Home Owner’s Manual (soft-cover book included with every home inspection and placed in the Prism Home and Building Inspection LLC Home Maintenance Binder) and the digital version of Carson Dunlop’s Home Resource book (attached in the appendix of our home inspection report). These are just two of the many ways we provide meaningful assistance to you after your inspection.
We also include FREE with every home inspection, value added services through a partnership with Residential Warranty Services to provide money saving warranties to protect your investment for the first 90 days after the inspection. Also included FREE with every home inspection, we provide through an up-to-date database, a check of all recall reports on household appliances we might see during your home inspection. We document the serial and model numbers of your home’s built-in appliances, furnace, air handler, air conditioning and water heater and submit it to RecallChek® to check your reported appliances against their database to see if there are any outstanding recalls. If any item reported is an affected unit, RecallChek® issues a report including the nature of the recall, where the product was sold, and how to remedy the defect including how to get the item repaired or replaced absolutely FREE. The report also provides the phone numbers of who to call and the hours they are open.
